,Founded in 1998 in New York City, the Ameson Education and Cultural Exchange Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that is committed to the development of new educational programs and platforms, and the organization of educational and cultural exchanges around the world. Its honorary Chairman was the late Dr. Boutros Boutros-Ghali, a former Secretary General of the United Nations. The Foundation is guided by a Board of Advisors comprised of world-leading educational experts and dignitaries, and maintains Advisory Committees for Academics, K-12 education and College Admissions.
Our partnerships with educational and governmental organizations around the world have helped us promote mutual understanding by hosting high-level international forums and seminars, and organizing and supporting multilateral exchanges of students, teachers, administrators and education officials. Programs like Sino-American Youth Ambassadors, the Ameson Chinese Elite Program, and the Ameson Year in China are just some of our efforts in this area.
With the American High School (+AP) Program, independent K-12 international schools and other innovative educational platforms in China, and our upcoming series of schools based on a unique “Dual Language - Dual Culture” curriculum in the United States, Ameson has established platforms around the world to implement new, more international educational methods. Ameson has also joined forces with the HighScope Foundation to adapt the student-focused HighScope early educational philosophy to China and establish a teacher training center to spread awareness of innovative teaching methods in early education.
